How to Make a Pup Cup for Your Coffee Shop
A pup cup, also known as a puppaccino, is a treat you can serve in your coffee shop that's just for dogs! Your customers with furry friends can get a treat for their dog when they come in for their morning coffee. Some coffee shops just serve whipped cream in a small cup, but you can do even more than that! Here's a recipe for a pup cup every dog is sure to love.
What You'll Need to DIY Pup Cup:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 dog treat
- 4 oz hot paper cup
- 4 oz cup lid
How to Make Pup Cups:
1. Mash and mix
Mash your banana until it's smooth. Mix it with your yogurt.
2. Warm your peanut butter
The next pup cup making step is to microwave your peanut butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Warm it until it's smooth and liquidy.
3. Fill your cup
Scoop half of your yogurt/banana mixture into your cup. Spoon half of your peanut butter on top of that. Smooth it out and swirl it into your yogurt mixture. Don't mix it in fully; just a small swirl will do. Repeat this with the rest of your yogurt and peanut butter.
4. Top it
Place your dog treat on top of your final layer of peanut butter. Place your lid on your cup.
5. Serve it
Serve this pup cup chilled or frozen. You can store this in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
