How to Remove the Seeds from Strawberry Puree?
When making strawberry puree, achieving a smooth texture often involves removing the seeds. This extra step ensures a more refined taste and texture, especially important when using the puree in sophisticated beverages or desserts. By straining the blended strawberries through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth, you can effortlessly separate the seeds, leaving behind a velvety puree that's perfect for any culinary creation. Taking the time to refine your technique when making strawberry puree truly elevates the quality and experience of the end product.

How to Make Strawberry Puree?
1. Cook it
Place your strawberries, water, sugar, salt, and lemon juice in the saucepan. Cook it over medium heat. Allow it to cook until the strawberries are soft enough to crush with the side of the spoon.
2. Blend it
If you're using an immersion blender, you can puree your strawberry mixture directly in the saucepan. If you're using a traditional blender, blend your mixture in batches until the entire thing is blended.
3. Heat it Again
Return your mixture to the saucepan and put it on medium heat. Allow it to simmer for a couple minutes until the sauce has thickened to your desired texture.
4. Cool and Store
Pour your strawberry puree into your quart to go container. Allow it to cool completely. Once it's cooled, cover it with the lid. This can be refrigerated in your quart to go container for up to two weeks.
Strawberry puree is perfect for your coffee shop! You can make drinks like the vampire frappe or even a classic strawberry steamer.
