Thanksgiving is next week! In the United States, Thanksgiving means turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, and much more. This is the perfect time of year to introduce some limited-edition drinks.
1. Cranberry White Hot Chocolate
Cranberry sauce is a Thanksgiving must-have. Here's how you can incorporate it into your coffee shop. To make this, steam together 8 oz milk, 1 oz cranberry simple syrup, and 2 oz white chocolate sauce. Top with whipped cream, a drizzle of white chocolate syrup, and a drizzle of cranberry simple syrup.
How to Make Cranberry Simple Syrup
You can do this by combining 1 cup cranberry juice, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup fresh (or frozen and thawed) cranberries in a saucepan. Bring this to a boil. Boil it for a few minutes and then turn the heat down to low-medium. Allow the sugar to dissolve in the liquid and the cranberries to cook and soften. Eventually, they’ll pop. Simmer this on low-medium heat for fifteen minutes, or until it's thickened to a syrup consistency. Remove from the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes. Pour it through a sieve into a container with an airtight lid. Store it in your refrigerator for up to one month.
2. Pumpkin Pie Latte
Pumpkin pie is a classic Thanksgiving dessert. Bring it to your coffee shop with this recipe! Steam together 6 oz whole milk with 1 oz pumpkin spice syrup, 2 oz pumpkin pie syrup, and 1 oz shortbread syrup. Pour this over 2 shots of espresso. Top with a thin layer of foam, a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, and crumbled pie crust.
3. Gingerbread Cider Frappe
Everyone loves gingerbread in the holiday season! Here's how you can bring that classic flavor to your shop. Combine 8 oz milk, 2 oz gingerbread syrup, 2 oz apple syrup, 1/2 oz cinnamon syrup, 2 scoops white frappe mix, and 8 oz ice in a blender. Blend until smooth. Top with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
4. Pecan Pie Blended Mocha
